The most important thing that you have to take into account when playing Diamond in the Rough is the aim of the game is to defend the diamond from getting stolen. You can only do that by shooting all the thieves that are trying to get at it and steal it.
You are armed with a turret that can move in all directions, though it is stationary, and with it you have to manage to withstand the repeated attacks of the thieves. They come in waves and you must try to fend them off before they can even do any type of damage on your diamond case, otherwise you will slowly lose the game.
